Create Change, LLC is Celebrating Its 10th Anniversary

Create Change, LLC is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year. Ten years! I reflected on this as we approached the Independence Day holiday, remembering the beginning of my entry into the world of private practice in 2007 after 20 years in the medical field.

I remember it was difficult to put all my fears aside and move forward into a venture that called to my heart. I began providing counseling and business consulting and training services to individuals, couples, and businesses. Since its inception, I have relocated to Portland, Oregon and now am inspiring others to join in the joyful transition to independence.

In August, Create Change will have grown to a staff of five brave women who all followed their hearts to provide services to others in their own way. Megan Baldwin initially transitioned from her many positions in the medical field to manage the accounts and client flow at Create Change. Mary Cross, our associate clinical social worker transitioned from 14 years as a hospice social worker to provide mediation and counseling services to couples and individuals in the areas of depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, and grief. Milar Moore, PMHNP, has transitioned from primary care to provide counseling in conjunction with medication management in the areas of ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, and psychosis. Milar is also following her dream to provide in-home services to clients in need. In August, Joan Ayala, ACSW, CDAC III, transitions from agency work to follow her passion for dual diagnosis counseling, forensic evaluations, recovery group work, and training therapists to work with addiction issues.

I am excited to witness the growth over the next 10 years and thank you all for your support thus far and as we move into the future.

Where will past clients be able to see Joan Ayala at? Much appreciated for response.

    Thank you
